Mini Black Pine ミニ黒松

Wiring for mini Black Pine As the branches and trunk of mini tree are soft, I could bend and twist them easily. The problem is the mini trees don’t have basic shape of Bonsai. Those trees are so natural and grew up as they want. It’s a good opportunity to make design of Bonsai as you want. What I did for those mini trees is just bend down branches. The tweezers were very useful when wiring.  I’m going to repot for those trees in this spring. After changing to cooler pods, I hope the Bonsai is also cooler.

Picking flowers 花がら摘み

早春の季節、梅の花が一足先に咲き誇った後しぼみ始めました。
花を咲かすことは木にとって多大なエネルギーを使い負担が掛かるので、花がしぼみ始めたら摘み取ります。

 花がらを摘み取っていると、花の香りがふわっと漂い春が来たなと実感させられます。


近くにあった梅盆栽にメジロが降り立ち、花を突ついていました。

少し寂しく見えるでしょうか？よく見ると新梢が少しずつ伸びてきているんですよ。

盆栽園にいると季節の移り変わりを一番初めに知る事ができます。
手に付着した黄色い花粉を見るだけでも、春の訪れに心が浮き立ちました。
