Refinement for Shimpaku 真柏のメンテナンス

I made this Simpaku more beautiful.
This is one of important custody for Bonsai.
今回は真柏のメンテナンスをします。手間暇をかけて世話をしていくことで盆栽をより美しく綺麗に、そしてその樹に対して愛着が湧いてきます。

 Cut all wire. Those wires were winded about three years ago so that they were biting branches.
針金を全て切り外します。この針金は約３年前に巻かれたもので、枝に食い込んでいました。

Polish the trunk with sandpaper to turn red.
紙やすりで幹（水吸い）を磨くと赤色になります。

 

 

 Wash dirt and paint lime sulfur on Jin and Syari.
汚れを洗い落とし、石灰硫黄合剤をジン・シャリに塗ります。

作業風景はこんな感じ。完成間近です。

 

 Done!
完成です。

 The contrast of the reddish trunk and the white Jin and Syari is beautiful. It became more prominent than before.
赤い水吸いと白いジン・シャリの美しさが人目を引き、樹格が向上しました。

宝塚観賞「ラスト・タイクーン」

宝塚歌劇・花組公演のラスト・タイクーン/TAKARAZUKA無眩を観てきました。

私が大ファンの舞月なぎささんは美しく・かっこよく・オーラがあって、
遠くから見ていても一目でわかります。
また目が合った気がしてドキドキしました！

艶やかで賑やかな最高の公演でした。
いい夢を見させていただき、明日へのエネルギーが充電できた感じがします。
宝塚は何回行っても楽しいですね。

Putting mosses on soil 苔貼り

 To make Bonsai looks older and to keeps wet, I put mosses on soil.

盆栽を更に古く見せ、鉢内の水分を保つ為に苔を貼りましょう。

 

Prepare several kinds of mosses.

数種類の苔を用意します。

Shower both of moss and soil to cling each other well.

苔と土の両方に水をあげた方が

良くくっつきます。

Put mosses on soil.

苔を土の上に置いていきます。

Press the edge with a spatula.

淵の部分はヘラで押さえます。

To put Higoke closed to wood base should be a nice accent for especially conifer.

松柏には根元にヒゴケを置くとアクセントになります。

 

< Point > Colorful mosses and deferent species mosses make Bonsai more attractive and beautiful.

苔は単色より複数色の方が良く、また異なる種類のものを用意した方が美しく面白く仕上がります。

T-Shinpaku 丁字真柏

This tree was the most difficult tree I have ever worked.
今まで取り組んだ中で一番難しかったのがこの樹です。

 

 

To begin with, it was difficult to decide the front and the apex because the shape of branches is like “ T ”. 

 この真柏の正面及び頂部を決めるのには大変悩まされました。下から伸びてきた幹が閂枝を境にして、頭となる枝が切られてしまったかのような「丁字」をしていたからです。

 

 

< Point >

I needed to raise one of the branches to make an apex.
丁字枝の途中から出ている枝を１本選び、それを頭に見立てて持ち上げ、芯を立て替えました。

This tree has got unique branches but I was able to make triangular shape somehow. I learnt a lot from this tree. Thanks Shinpaku!
枝付きにとても個性のあるこの樹をまとめるのは大変難しかったですが、良い勉強になりました。
